The first 15 chapters of every novel on Plotrixx are free. However, login is required to read any chapter, as this allows us to track your progress and provide a seamless reading experience.

Yes! An account is required to read any chapter on the platform. Having a free account lets you save your reading progress, bookmark your favorite stories, and receive notifications when new chapters are unlocked.

Offline reading is available exclusively on the Rixx Premium plan (₹179/month). Premium members can download any unlocked chapter to read without internet. Free and Coin readers need an active connection.

Yes! When logged in, your reading progress, bookmarks, and history automatically sync across all your devices - mobile, tablet, and desktop. Sign in with the same account and pick up exactly where you left off.

Yes. The reading view allows you to adjust the font size with a range of 10, 12, 14, or 16. You can also switch between Dark and Light modes to suit your preference. Other formatting options like font family and spacing are currently fixed.

We encourage writers to publish in a variety of languages. While our current library primarily consists of English and Hindi, we will add more regional languages as writers contribute them. You can check for available languages using the filter on the Browse page.

The first 15 episodes of every audiobook are free. However, login is required to listen to any episode so that we can accurately track your progress across the series.

Variable playback speed (0.75× to 2×) is available on Coin Listener and Audio Premium plans. Free listeners play at standard 1× speed. Find the speed button in the floating audio player.

Yes! A sleep timer is available for Coin Listener and Audio Premium users. Set it to pause after 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, or at the end of the current episode. Find it in the audio player settings (⚙️ icon).

Offline episode downloads are an Audio Premium feature (₹179/month). Premium listeners can download any unlocked episode. Downloads stay available for 30 days if you remain subscribed.

All audiobooks stream at 128kbps by default. Audio Premium subscribers can switch to 320kbps high quality in their audio settings. Voice artists upload in MP3 or WAV, we transcode for optimal streaming.

After a writer publishes a new chapter (chapter 16+), it locks for 4 days. If you have completely finished reading the 15th chapter, the 16th chapter unlock timer begins. Once those 4 days pass, the chapter unlocks and you'll receive a notification. After you finish reading chapter 16, the timer for chapter 17 begins automatically, and this cycle repeats for all novels!

1 coin = 1 chapter unlock = ₹0.20. One coin also unlocks one audiobook episode. Coin bundles offer better value the more you buy:

No. Coins are spent when you unlock a chapter or episode and that unlock is permanent. Unspent coins in your wallet have no expiry date. We don't believe in punishing you for not spending fast enough.

Yes - unlocked chapters and episodes are permanently yours. You only spend a coin once per chapter. Re-read or re-listen as many times as you like. Your unlocked content is tied to your account, safe across devices.

A writer subscription unlocks all chapters from that specific writer the moment they publish. Rixx Premium (₹179/month) unlocks everything across the entire platform from every writer and voice artist. Choose based on how widely you read.

Yes! Your coin wallet works across the entire platform. 1 coin unlocks 1 chapter or 1 episode - whichever you choose. There's no separate wallet for reading vs. listening.

Yes - the Starter Writer plan is completely free. Upload unlimited chapters, earn from coin unlocks (chapter 16+), and earn from reader subscriptions. No listing fees, no hidden costs. Paid plans (Creator ₹147/mo, Luminary Author ₹399/mo) add promotion and growth tools.

You earn in three ways: Earnings are paid monthly via UPI/bank transfer once you reach the ₹200 minimum threshold. A 3% payment gateway fee applies.

You do, always. Plotrixx does not claim ownership over your work. By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and distribute your content on the platform. You can unpublish or delete your work at any time.

Yes. To ensure a consistent reading experience, we have the following requirements:

There's no mandatory schedule on the free plan, write at your own pace. That said, consistent publishing (weekly or bi-weekly) dramatically helps reader retention. Creator and Luminary Author plans include scheduled publishing, so you can write in batches and auto-publish on a set day.

Yes! Voice artists can request to narrate your novel. You approve the collaboration and agree on a revenue split, discussed with our PR Lead and finalised by signing the contract. On the Creator plan, our team actively matches you with suitable voice artists.

Your dashboard shows total readers, chapter-level read counts, reader retention, coin earnings, and subscription earnings. Creator and Pro Author plans add chapter drop-off rates, reader demographics, and earnings forecasts.

We accept MP3 (minimum 128kbps, 320kbps recommended) and WAV files. Episodes are re-encoded for optimal streaming. The Studio Artist plan includes priority processing (<2 hours) and quality certification.

You earn in three ways: Minimum payout ₹200. A 3% payment gateway fee applies. Payments monthly via UPI.

Free Artist: up to 3 audiobooks. Voice Pro: up to 5 audiobooks. Studio Artist: unlimited. Each audiobook can have as many episodes as needed.

Your vocal performance is your intellectual property. For original audiobooks you create independently, you retain all performance rights. For collaborative audiobooks, rights are shared per your agreed terms with the writer. Plotrixx only holds a non-exclusive hosting and distribution licence.

Voice Pro and Studio Artist plans include the Collaboration Matching tool - browse writers who've opted in for audiobook adaptation, filter by genre, and send a request directly. Writers on Pro Author plans actively seek voice artists, so matches happen faster.

Record in a quiet room with soft furnishings to reduce echo. Use a USB condenser microphone if possible. Maintain a consistent distance of 15–20 cm from the mic. Aim for -18 to -20 dBFS average loudness, peaks no louder than -3 dBFS. Check our Creator Resources section for a full guide.

We accept UPI (all apps), debit & credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), net banking, and popular wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.). All transactions are encrypted and we never store card details on our servers.

Yes - cancel anytime from account settings with no penalty. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. We offer a 7-day refund for Rixx Premium and a 14-day refund for Creator/Voice Pro plans if you haven't heavily used platform features. Coin purchases are non-refundable once issued to your wallet.

You're automatically moved to the free plan. We will not charge you unless you explicitly subscribe. No hidden renewals, no surprise charges. You'll receive a reminder email 2 days before your trial ends.

Currently no - Plotrixx is ad-free for all users during our early launch period. Our model is built on coins and subscriptions. If this ever changes, all users will receive at least 30 days' advance notice, and paid plans will always remain ad-free.

Yes. An email receipt is sent automatically for every purchase. GST-compliant invoices are available from Account → Billing. For custom invoices for reimbursement, contact [email protected].

Yes. Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. All personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. For writers, your published novels will be taken down. We recommend exporting your data before deletion.

Never. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising. Data collected (reading habits, device info) is used solely to improve your Plotrixx experience. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Click "Login" in the top navigation, then choose "Forgot Password?". Enter your registered email and we'll send a secure reset link within a few minutes. If you signed up via Google or Apple, use that login method instead.

Yes! A single Plotrixx account lets you read, listen, write, and narrate - all in one place. Switch between your Reader Dashboard and Creator Dashboard from the account menu without logging out.
